Photobucket
Updated 1/8/2011
Photobucket is a very popular photo hosting service. It has both free and pay accounts. It also can easily generate code for eBay. Photo prints can also be ordered from Photobucket.
Like other services Photobucket can be used to resize photos and it also has some online photo editing tools which can be useful and fun.
Using Photobucket
- Uploading Many different ways to upload to PhotoBucket I suggest not resizing while uploading
- Post an Image on a forum A brief overview of how to post to a forum, works for OGR.
- More Questions? You may want to check out Photobucket's Help section.
Posting your photos
I am going to make the assumption that you have already uploaded your photos to Photobucket, and are trying to post them to OGR.
Starting from your Photobucket album select the image you want to share

The page will load with your image

Look in the "Share this photo" window and click the text in the IMG code box to copy it

At this point you can head over to the forum and post. Or if you want to add several images to a posting you may want to paste these addresses into a text file so you do not have to jump back and forth between forums

Find (or start) a thread were you want to add an photo click on the "Reply" button.

In the body of the reply message, paste the IMG code you have copied from Photobucket. When complete click on the "Post Now" button

If you did everything correctly you will see your image. If not check the above steps again. You may want to go back to get the IMG code for your photos and try pasting it in again.

Congratulations you are done!
